Weekend Fun.

After my "I am a boring person," post...I decided to dress all crazy like and be a hippie Saturday night.  I think I got inspiration from my bohemian post... or I was just getting in costume for a Jazz Festival...Art Festivals just scream Hippie to me- so I went for it.  Megan and I went up to Denton- and I am glad we did.  Los Lonely Boys had a concert...which made me wanna gag.  I used to always change the station when their song "Heaven" came on.  But hey... I can tell my kids how I saw a really lame band once.  No offense if you love them.  We had fun though... REALLY good people watching!  Then we walked to the square and ate Beth Marie's Ice Cream!

Lame Spot

You can tell a lot by my blog.  When I stop blogging consistently, then I have hit a boring/lame spot in my life.   The most exciting thing that happened to me this week was that I cleaned my apartment--- really good, I was very productive/organized at work this week, I did not die from giving a week long TAKS test, I bought Tangled, I attempted a garage sale- hated it, and I started to pick up some Nanny jobs.  I need to throw a party or something- I am in a funk.

Bohemian Love

I am so in love with this Bohemian/Hippie style.  I have always had a strong love for flowers and flower crowns and I keep seeing pictures of them- that makes my love grow stronger.  No, I am not planning a wedding (even though I love this look and will probably do something like this)- I just want to share the love and pretty things.  This dress is crazy awesome- man oh man.

Sibling LoVe: Lexi

Things I LoVe about Lexi Caroline:

-She is always smiling and FULL of Joy!

-She is very crafty.

-She has an awesome little giggle.

-She is a great friend- everyone loves Lexi.

-She is a perfectionist...like Momma.

-She works very hard in school and everything she does.

-She is great seamstress.

-She is Beautiful- Inside and Out!

-She is patient when it comes to tedious things- things that I am not patient with.

-She has helped me organize many closets:)

-The boys would never mess with Lexi because she would get them- ha.

-She sticks up for herself... like a champ.

-She's a hugger.

-She has a HUGE heart!

-She always tries to live for the Lord- she is a true servant.

-Her color was Red.

-She was a big talker when she was a baby.

-She gets excited about life.

- Very sarcastic (that's every one of my siblings)

-She truly is unique in that she is her true self- does not worry about other people.

-She encourages everyone she meets.

-Her smile is contagious.

-She likes to bake.

-She Loves Pinterest.

-She is independent.

-She encourages me all the time by her kind words!

Sibling LoVe: Cassie

Things I LoVe about Cassie Hykel:

-We had each other during the "crazy" times.

-She always is wanting to better herself.

-She is a great wife, sister, daughter, and friend.

-She has the prettiest blue eyes!

-She got the height.

-I loved taking care of my little sister:)

-We liked to fight when younger.. a lot.  She was a really good sport- ha.

-She had a BEAUTIFUL wedding!  Prettiest bride I have ever seen.

-She is very patient and understanding with people.

-She is a very determined, hard working employee and student.

- She does not give up!

-We have the same giggle.

- I love the home movies we have together- always laughing.  Well, usually.

- She has become such a grown up..so weird to see a younger sibling become so responsible and awesome!

-Kind of OCD... haha, little things she had to have.

-Strong in her faith! 

-Very hospitable.  

- A private person, unlike me.

-Took care of Mom when she was pregnant with the Quads and I was at school- Good little nurse.

-HATES mosquitoes.  

-Disciplined with eating, school, and exercise.

-Always supportive of me and my passions.

Sibling LoVe: Grant

Things I LoVe about Grant:

-He has always known how to make me laugh.

-He knows how to make anyone feel loved and comfortable- especially those without friends.

-People are drawn to him.

-He was good at football... at one time:)

-He is SOO good with kids- all kids and babies love him.

-He is a charmer and he knows it...it will get him far in life.

-He is a natural charismatic leader.

-He is humble.

-He has a super cute baby face:)
-He lets me shop for him!

-He was the fattest one of the quads- haha.

-His smile is great.

-He got in trouble the most as a kid... button pusher fo sho.

-His color was Blue and he loved Taz.

- He is really smart.

- He has good common sense.

-He is a hard worker and awesome grocery store cashier:)

-He will be a great Dad someday.

-He is a really good at singing in dorky ways.
-He knows how to have fun!

-He wants to please God and has such a good heart.

Sibling LoVe: Austin

Things I LoVe about Lloyd Austin:

-He will wear anything I want him too:)

-He loves the Lord and wants to please him.

-He is unique...does not have to be like everyone else.

-He used to make me sandwiches all the time...because I said he was the best sandwich maker.

-Likes to stay busy and be with people.

-He is constantly tapping, because he is a drummer boy.

-He is a good listener/talker.

-He has good music taste.

-He likes making me laugh- and always can.

- We are the most alike...maybe?

-He is very independent.

-He loves long boarding/ biking..anything sporty.

- He is a Baller- 3 point shot King.

-He is very patient with others.

-He has a quiet side.

- He thinks things through.

- He can make my Mom laugh/wheeze anytime.

- He is very blonde.

-His color was Green.

-He is a mature one and very responsible.

- He will make a great husband and dad!

- He is a very determined, self motivated person.

Things I love about Candice Joy Wilson:

- She is a lot like me.

-She is FULL of JoY.

-The smallest one of the quads but the toughest.

-She is a very hard worker.
-She loves individual time with Mom and Dad.

-She has a heart of gold and a passion to serve and encourage others.

-She is not afraid to be different!

-She tans easy...not fair.

-Everyone who knows her Loves her.

-She has a special way with children.

-Her color growing up was YeLLow.

- She LOVES ice cream.

-She is Beautiful.

-She looks at the positive side of things.

- I Love her fashion sense- I taught her well- haha, jk.
-She never gives up.

- She always tries to see the good in people.

- She used to be quite the button pusher...grown out of that:)

Sibling LoVe

I have decided that I do not say enough sweet things to my brothers and sisters...sooo starting today I am going to do a little series called: Sibling LoVe.  Each Day I will pick one at random and list the things I love about them.  They mean the world to me, and I want the world to know it!  I have said that phrase in my past few posts...I promise I do not go around screaming AND I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW IT... such a loser.  We will start tomorrow:)

p.s. I promise I do not do things like this to brag about my family and how great they are (yes, we are normal and fight)... I do them to grown stronger- that is always my purpose.
