Day 19: O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A

Right now I am watching Sabrina with my sisters, and Aunt Judy. I always love coming to Oklahoma to see my Papa and Grandma, and Uncle Roger and Aunt Judy. I need to visit more. I really enjoy coming the the Wilson Ranch...many good memories here. Playing with kittens, Easter Egg Hunts, Swimming in the Horse Trough, 4 Wheelers, Fireworks, riding pigs, sledding, peanuts, games, birthday parties, basketball, and playing in the tree house- just to name a few:) Today we watched a lot of football, and cleaned my grandparents house. My grandparents are doing well, definitely slowing down..which is sad to see. R.D. and Judy are doing really well this weekend too- Keep them in your prayers!
I love my Pops...He was trying to fix the vacuum cleaner- always doing something! The middle picture is my Daddy- He is a great man (even if he does wear socks with sandals-haha).

To explain these pictures... my grandparents had the most awesome pool on the block. In the summers we would constantly swim... all day long. Our hair would turn green, we would have blisters on our toes, water would be in our ears... yep back in the Sandlot days. I do not like swimming that much anymore, which makes me sad that I am no longer a kid. So as you can see they no longer fill up the pool, because the grandkids stopped swimming, and it is too much work for them to clean it. So now I just sit here thinking about the good carefree summer days.

LOOK what I did! I made the maxi dress shorter, and put on a cardigan with it- another outfit I would not do, but I had too figure something out:)

Dress: Anthropologie/ Shoes: Forever 21/Cardigan: Old Navy/ Belt: Urban Outfitters

  1. So cute! Love how you made it shorter. If you hadn't said anything, I wouldn't have noticed it was shorter! Go you.
