I have a friend that I have known since 2nd grade...or 1st... been so long. Her name is Megan, and I am kind of a fan. She is one of those friends who you never have to impress, never have to worry about her being made at you, if you do not talk for 5 months, it is still the same... a no drama girl- which is my kind of gal! She probably has the biggest, unselfish heart of anyone I know. Megan and her family have always been there for me, encouraged me, loved me, and took me in as one of their own. Megan has always had a heart for mission work and working with kids in orphanages across the world. She is a nurse and just recently got her nurse practitioner license and is now going for her PHD- to teach nursing. She spends her time working on her PHD and working at a community low income clinic in Dallas (which is something she would do:)). She is also one of the most humble people I know, and would hate to know that I am bragging about her... but I just wanted the 3 people that follow me to know where I have gotten most of my inspiration and love for foreign work from. Every time I am around Meg, I feel inspired. OK... now that I got that off my chest I will explain what is on my chest, the scarf. Megan brought me back this handmade scarf from Ethiopia, Africa. She had the opportunity to go on a medical trip and then got to go to a Mother Tearsa Clinic or orphanage (cannot remember) and bought me this scarf. It was handmade by people staying at the clinic. I loveeeee loveee loveee stuff like this, especially when it helps give money to those in need. ANYWAYS I love my Meg and the way she serves others! I hope you have people like that in your life that make you want to use your talents and serve others. If you surround yourself with those, your life will fill full. Thank you if you are in my life and inspire me...I could write about someone different every day- I might just start doing that:)
